Boxing Day

Boxing Day is traditionally a day of Sport. At Holbrook we have organized a full range of pursuits to enjoy.

 There is the excitement of the Boxing Day races, at nearby Wincanton Racecourse this is always a favourite! 
It is renowned for attracting the best Steeplechasers and Hurdlers in the country.

Others may prefer to sip their mulled wine and 'see off the  Hunt'  at Castle Cary village 
which is only five minutes away. 

Hampers are available for those wanting to explore the surrounding villages,
Gardens and Historic Houses in the area.

Should you prefer to be 'left behind' to relax and 'be pampered' then you can make full use of our Spa. Take time to revitalise and rejuvenate by indulging in an aromatherapy massage , facial, manicure or pedicure. A full range of beauty treatments are available. The more energetic could 'stretch' to a ‘work out’ in the fitness suite or swim in the indoor pool.

From 12.30pm an optional three course Luncheon will be served in the Cedar Restaurant or on returning from your travels, you can unwind and enjoy Afternoon Tea served in the Morning Room.

The evenings festivities begin with a Champagne Cocktail Party at 7.30pm, before a black tie Gala Dinner.... a full five course culinary delight awaits you in the Cedar Restaurant. Then 'really let your hair down' at our Las Vegas Casino Night, and try your hand at Black Jack or the Roulette Table.
