The Bride’s ‘very special Day’. My engagement includes: Welcomed telephone calls at any time to dispel any problems as they arise or to give help and advice on any matter relating to the day. A detailed discussion at least two months before the Wedding Day to go over the day in detail, covering every aspect of linking the planning, arranging and managing the Reception. ( If the Wedding is a Civil Service and taking place in the same venue as the Reception, then my duties start prior to and including the Ceremony). Advice and assistance with speeches if needed – a comforting help to those who experience anxiety on these occasions. Full and detailed liaison with the Reception Venue caterers or banqueting manager. Receiving and looking after guests as they arrive. Receiving the Bride and Groom. Assisting the photographer in assembling the Bridal Party and guests as required. Organising the receiving line prior to the Wedding Breakfast. Announcing all guests to the Bridal Party. Seating of Guests and Top Table Guests. Announcing the Bride and Groom and escorting them to the top table. Announcing ‘Grace’. Arranging and announcing the ceremony of ‘cutting the cake’ Announcing the speakers and assisting with presentations. Closing the Wedding Breakfast ‘formalities’.
