Horse Racing
Wincanton Race Course - approximately five minutes drive from Holbrook, is a very popular National Hunt racing course. The calendar of meetings runs from October to May; with Boxing Day, The Mid-Season Chase, and the Holbrook House Chase being the most popular. These races often attract excellent horses and local trainers use them as ‘prep’ events for their more prestigious races later on in the year.
